About the job

Following our expansion over the last years, we intend to extend the scope of our products and solutions in the European market. For this purpose, we are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join us as the EVSE/ESS Business Development Manager to support our endeavours in Italy.

This position plays a crucial role in our success, and therefore, we are looking for a candidate with a customer-oriented mindset, ready to continuously improve and develop our standards. The EVSE/ESS Business Development Manager shall generate new sales leads, develop new sales channels for our energy storage products and EV equipment, negotiate client pricing, and forecast sales revenue. In this position, you will: Be responsible for the development of new business within the energy storage sector, PV installer market (commercial/residential) in Italy

  • Develop new sales channels/strategy for our energy storage products (hybrid inverter, storage systems)
  • Be responsible to reinforce and to expand the business pipeline
  • Implement and execute sales processes (for instance, order, shipment, invoice tracking, etc.)
  • Assist after-sales services in Europe to improve customer satisfaction
  • Update the status of Italy business intelligence, and provide this information to the Headquarter
  • Coordinate internally and externally to ensure project schedule, costs, and quality
  • Make sales statistical analysis, file retention, and business reports
  • Take full responsibility for sales orders and profit targets in the designated product domain, and be fully accountable for incurred losses
  • Ready to travel throughout Italy (International travel where required)Work remotely and attend occasional meetings at the central office

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above:

Working Experience:

  • 3 years plus experience in sales/business development/marketing in the energy storage sector or renewable energy sector.
  • Understanding of PV, energy storage solutions, EV and competing technologies.
  • Excellent Industry contacts to develop distribution sales channels to routes to the independent installer market and SMEs within the energy storage/pv sector.
  • Strong sales ability, good sense of market opportunities and management abilities.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proactiveness and willingness to take challenges.
  • Fluency in Italian and English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Team, customer, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Valid Italian Driving License
  • It would be also great if you could: Easily adapt to intercultural working atmosphere.
