Role Description
This is a full-time remote Technical Sales Manager position focused on the UK & Ireland region for EVSE (Electric Vehicle) and Energy Storage/PV (Photo Voltaic) solutions. The Technical Sales Manager will primarily lead the customer engagement of a key account and technical development activities in the region, working with the sales team to drive revenue growth. They will also be responsible for building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and staying up-to-date on industry trends and technological developments. Role will consist of reviewing, advising and promoting technical solutions to key account partners on their infrastructure deployments in key regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales in the EV or Energy Storage/PV industry
- Experience working in the UK & Ireland region and knowledge of the local market and regulations
- Strong understanding of EV and Energy Storage/PV technology and industry trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think strategically to achieve business goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, CRM software, and other sales-related tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Have understanding of EVSE and energy storage related European standards e.g. IEC 61851-1, IEC 61851-21-2, DIN 70121, ISO 15118, EN 50549 etc.
- Willingness to travel as required
